Dooki

Dookki, means “two meals” in Korean, offers tteokbokki for the first meal and fried rice for the second one. Topokki, or Tteokbokki, is a popular Korean street food made from chewy, cylinder-shaped rice cakes simmered in a sweet and spicy red chili sauce. (WARNING: Negative Review!)

FOOD

First time I was here I thought I could go back. The second time perhaps would be my last.

I dont like giving negative reviews but my experience was just that. The limited spread is always empty and needed to be replenished and the food unfortunately needs more love which is to say it was sloppy like they were thrown together like leftovers. The soft-drinks vending machine either doesn't work of something needed refilling. No one was there to attend to the customers despite having so many on staff. I don't know if other branches have better standards but the branch in SM Sta Rosa surely was substandard.

I'm surprised this chain is at least 15 locations already. I hope management does something to remedy the service if indeed the branch wasn't squeezed to cost cut.

The concept is pretty good and food choices for less than P600/pax is OK if food was cooked, prepared, and presented properly. For now it's overwhelming 👎(thumbs down).
